Which do u guys think Is better, i'm upgrading from a MacBook pro, I'm sick of osx it doesn't give me freedom

As Maziar expressed, it really depends on what you will use your laptop for. The HP has a more powerful, faster processor, but the Dell has more hard drive space and better screen resolution. What did you primarily use your previous laptop for?

The HP laptop is more of a workstation while the Dell is ideal for video editing. Either one is suitable to the purposes you described, although you may want to check the system requirements of the games you want to play to make sure the graphics cards can handle them.

Right^
5730M is a little faster than FX880M,plus quadro cards aren't for gaming.So go with
XPS 16 w/5730M

you have to decide your self, if you need graphics more than cpu power than go with the one with 5730, otherwise choose i7 cpu but you can get dell studio or xps with i5/i7 too
