Should I upgrade my laptop???





I have an Acer Aspire 4315. with an Intel Celeron 530 1.73 Mhz, 1GB 667 Mhz R.A.M running Vista Basic. The only "high" demanding things I do on my laptop is playing garry's mod and half life 2. I'm thinking about upgrading the CPU and memory. My choice for a CPU is an t5750 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz and upgrading the memory from 1GB to 2GBs. Should I upgrade? Will this be enough? Could less do just as good?

Depends on the price. The RAM should be dirt cheap. How much is the CPU?

if you can, get a 2GB stick for ram, vista will run much more smoothly, especially when you play the games. so you'll have 3GB ram total

Vista is a complete RAM pig. It's like the Crysis of O.S.'s.
