should i use isopropyl or denatured alcohol for cleaning laptop screens

i read somewhere that both isopropyl and denatured alcohols are used for cleaning... and i started wondering if i should clean my laptop screen with isopropyl or denatured alcohol... thanks!..

P.S. i have no idea in which forum should i post this question..

I always use iso for electronics. Does not matter if you spill it even. Just let it evaporate so long as there is no current in the system and you're solid

You want isopropyl alcohol. Of course, some denatured alcohol is isopropyl alcohol, in which case that should be okay too, I believe. I believe the recommendation is 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol. It's important to have isopropyl alcohol because it evaporates cleanly and shouldn't leave any residue.

Yep - usually the same as rubbing alcohol.

I use at least 85% isopropyl alcohol.
