Sim said invalid and how can I find out if it is good

Well if it is a SIM, even if it is bad, most carriers/service providers will replace it for nothing or very very little.

Now if it is a SD card you are referring to, that is completely different.

There are two reason to show this type of error message.
1. There might be a problem in sim card
2. Or, there might be a problem in in mob phone where the sim is inserted.

Check these two option and contact the company for assistance.
