Hello,

I have all of the surround sound speakers and sub woofer from a surround sound set but the amplifier is no longer working. As such I am looking to buy a new amplifier that meets the following needs:

I would like to be able to connect my computer to the amplifier via an optical (Toslink) cable and output to my existing surround sound speakers using the standard 2 conductor wires.

I believe each speaker can output around 50 watts so I assume the AMP needs to handle up to 250W.

As usual, the main goal is to find something cheap and simple that does the job, no bells and whistles needed here.

Thank you all in advance for your time and I look forward to hearing about your suggestions.
