My Logitech h111 headset has one cord, but my laptop has two jacks. When I use the headphone jack the headphones work but not the mic, and when I use the mic jack the mic works but not the headphones. Is there a way that I can use one of the jacks for the whole headset?

I had the same problem and bought a splitter. Now I have a new problem: with the spliter only one side of the headphones works, the one where the cable come out from. Did any of you encounter this problem?

its actually quite simple, the cord is designed for gaming headsets. most gaming sets only have one output. try configuring sound setting for an easy fix. the setting should say what they are making it almost self explanatory. reply if the problem continues and ill try to do some research to see what i can find.
