I have given up on Skype since they have ignored their Android customers for such a long time. That is not a way to keep your customers.
Now, I use Tango, it's cross-platform, and, unlike Skype, it works on pretty much any phone with a camera. Highly recommended. Skype can take their non-functional client and shove it where the sun don't shine.
