slow new laptop

Recently I bought a new Asus laptop with touch screen Intel Core I7 Nvidia GEOFORCE graphic card 4 gb Ram and 1TB Hard Drive
I was thinking it is a fast laptop but it is not the case !!! can someone help me to solve the problem or should I took it back to the seller
