Slow start up

My acer laptop hast just developed an issue. It freezes suddenly and then takes an age to restart

You should tell which Operating System you are using. You can also mention if you are using any anti-virus because it will slow down the start-up for scanning.

Try using CCleaner, this will clear your Browser History, Tenporary Internet Files amongst other things as well
