The one with the horn speakers is more of a PA type speaker. Will play extremely loud.
The other is a bit better but neither one would be considered a quality speakers. They will give you a lot of bass but the quality will be low. If you prefer new equipment I would suggest either Polk

They may not be right for you if you want very loud boomy bass but will be more accurate.
If you are OK with used gear that will probably let you stretch you budget. A used pair of Paradigm towers would work well if you can find some in your area.

As a musician Bass is not the only requirement to listen to in music. Midrange is almost 80% of the music followed by treble and bass.Look for NAD receivers or Rotel. Speakers a pair of old Polks 10A would do you just fine.
