Question So I am trying to use an Auto Clicker (GS)

And I am playing games with "Geforce Now" so I can play them with good graphics. So I wanted to farm some Ingame currency to buy something and set up multiple clicks. Just to realise that for some reason it wouldnt change the X/Y only if I wasnt in game or like opened Geforce Now. Could somebody explain me why and how I could fix this?
