Soild state is full!! :(

so ive got a solid state that i just wanna use for start up but its almost full cause i got lazy while installing things. can i just copy and paste things into my other hard drive with out it messing anything up? also what files should i not move? im trying not to have a bunch of "unknown file location" pop ups

you could move folders like my pictures, downloads, music, videos ect to another hard drive to start off with and see how much it helps.
Right click on the folder, click properties and click the location tab.

Don't move that folder, you can move the stuff inside it but DON"T move that folder itself.

If you do move programs inside the program files folder, your start menu shortcuts will have to be manually routed to the new file location.

No. You cannot do that.
Uninstall from your existing C drive, and reinstall to wherever you want.

How large is your existing SSD?
What other drives do you have?

Your first move would be to investigate exactly what is actually taking up your space. You may be surprised at what it actually is
WinDirStat can help visualize this.

ok so my program files (x86) is 55 gigs my windows is 18 and everything else else is just like 5 or 6. its there a nice way to thin down the x86 folder?

Uninstall something. Most likely, a large game is taking up a lot of that space.
