Hi all,

Having a problem with one of my computers.
An old desktop with nVidia GTX560Ti will run SW2013 perfectly.

A brand new laptop wont.
At least.. when I want to create a new file.

This is my first "self install" of a system, so I might have forgotten something, but nowhere anybody knows what the problem is.

Here's a bunch of info I don't know if it's relevant:
Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
RAM:
16 gigabyte
Display devices:
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 with 2GB
ATI/AMD Radeon HD8970M with 4GB
(not sure but Windows really insisted that I had 2 display devices....maybe a wrong turn when installation happened of Windows?)
Disk Drives:
Samsung SSD 840 series 120GB
WD Black Scorpio 7200rpm 750GB

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

DriverGenius indicates no problems, neither does Intel driver check, AMD or any other.

.NET framwork 4 is installed.
Word and Excel as well.

Videocodecs have been installed.

I'm a bit at the end of my logic thinking, as it's starting to get quite irritating me...

So to anyone who is able to help; please please do!
I'm not offering prize money yet, but I'm nearly there.....

Installed .NET Framework 4.5
Installed updates AND optional updates for Windows7

Works now.

So to anyone with the same problem: I have a feeling it was the framework....
