solution to youtube galaxy 3 picture diagonal lines

I asked about youtube picture's becoming diagonal lines on galaxy 3. Found the solution with some help from the community:

1. Go to App Manager.
2. Uninstall updates (it won't allow app uninstall).
3. Download youtube or yt update from play store.

Note:this might delete your youtube history.
