[Solved] Acer Aspire AX1700-U3700 freezes up

my acer ax1700 will not power up at all, it was working fine the other day and I put in standby as usual but when I moved the mouse to awaken computer nothing happened, no power light, sound, anything. I'm thinking my power supply is shot or something, anyone have an idea?
