Question My Google account is corrupt, affecting trackpad

Hi everyone, this is a long shot, but I am using an Acer Spin 713 Chromebook. On my main user account, my trackpad does not work anymore despite checking all of the settings, restarting, doing several power washes, etc. We've also torn down the Chromebook and checked the trackpad connectors and everything looks good. The cursor does work with a USB mouse, and I have a touchscreen, so I have been getting by like this for several months. I accepted my fate.

However, recently, I created a second account and signed in on the same Chromebook, and my trackpad works fine on that account only. I went back into the old account, and the trackpad immediately stops functioning.

I'm thinking then that the issue is a corrupt setting on my actual account, not the device, but I can't find any resources on how to contact Google to address this error. Has anyone experienced this before? While I do have feasible workarounds, I don't want this issue following me around if I upgrade my Chromebook. Thanks!
