Lolz... Apple have disabled comments on their videos. That's great. It's like saying something bold and loud and then blocking your ears going, "LA LA! What? I can't hear you!"

I have the same issue. I recieved the phone on monday and activated it but didnt make a call until tuesday and today. The reception sounds horrible. Lots of background noise and the call goes in and out. Even when you watch the status bar the signal goes from 1 bar to 4 bars and then no bars, and thats when you're sitting still. This could also be why the battery is draining so fast. I had to remove the facebook account in order to save the battery life. The battery has gone from 100% to 80% in 4hrs and thats just from sitting on the counter but thats definitely an improvement. Idk wats up but I really want it fixed. Whats the point of having features you can't use...

I just switch from a Blackberry (about my 5th in well over 10 years) to this Droid 2 and have been dumbfounded by how easy to use and capable this thing is. No signal issues at all, other than killing all my time enjoying it. The real test of signal strength is downloading applications, which is really fast and has never faltered, and I have loaded this phone up with them. BTW I'm a 57 year old professional who relies heavily on remote computer use, email, news, travel info, navigation and texting. This phone is unbelievable.

Ive had my moto droid 2 for a little over a month now. I like the phone and all the features, however, the signal sporadically changes all day, at least three times a day i loose service, I've had quite a few dropped calls, and the battery life sucks. The battery barely gets me though a full day and I have only a few apps and follow all the battery saver suggestions. This is absolutely rediculous, especially after spending $200 for the phone, $30 monthly data fee and $75 monthly service fee. I had better signal, no loss of service, and unlimited calls and text for a hell of a lot cheaper with Cricket. And I thought I was upgrading! My experience with Moto and Verison has been very frustrating and expensive

I purchased the Droid 2 in late August and within a couple of days MOTO pushed an update to FROYO. This update clobbered the Bluetooth performance. The Command Voice audio level reduced so low as to be almost unusable. Also, my new Jabra headset transmitter refused to connect until I called myself from the Home or other phone first. The Verizon technician had to recover the 2.2 version of FROYO to correct these two problems. Hopefully, MOTO will produce a fix for these problems in their next release.

I live 3 miles from the tower on a hilltop with no interference. All our cells work with the execptin of the 3 week old new Droid 2. Most always goes to VM.

the original droid AND the droid 2 are the crappiest pieces of equipment ive ever used!!!!!!!!!!!!! they have multiple defects, i have had to have 7 of them because verizon continues their delusional theory that it was just "that phone", so keep sending me others.all with the same problems.they should be taken off the market and verizon/motorola held responsible for refunds and distributing faulty equipment! full stop.
