Songs from iPhone > iTunes

How do I do this? I want to get all the songs from my iPhone 4s to my iTunes library, and not just the purchased ones.

I am only able to access my phones Pictures when I plug it in

How are you accessing the phone? Can you see it as a drive letter?

I goto my documents > then I see my phone listed on the left side

How did you get the music onto the iPhone in the first place then? Do the same thing but copy FROM it to the iTunes folders on the computer.

@hang-the-9 I got the music onto the phone via purchased (is isn't a problem in terms of transferring) music, and music from CD's etc. I also had a macbook with all the songs on in an iTunes library, so maybe I needed to copy some files over from that?

well this was 2 years ago. And I don't think it was ever solved. But it is no longer an issue
