Sony 40bx420 Flat screen LCD tv

Got a horizontal line in the middle of screen below which the screen is light blue and the top piece is almost normal.The Tv works otherwise ok and can go into service mode like normally would.

It is possible that one of the ribbon cables in your TV is unseated some of it's contacts. If you have someone who can help you, have it replaced or contact a technician who can help you with this.
