Realistically it won't be able to pull off 3D in any but the least graphically intensive games. The PS3 already stutters in most titles... barely maintaining 30FPS at 720P. It's worth pointing out that (at least on PC) rendering the frames twice does not necessarily cause a 50% reduction in framerate. However, it always DOES cause a dramatic performance hit. At least 30%. It doesn't matter on the PC because most games run WAY above 60FPS. On the PS3 I'll believe it when I see it. I think that is why Microsoft has been mum on the 3D subject. It's just not feasible with today's console hardware. Next gen though

Why doesn't Sony just release a firmware update that allows the playing of ALL Blu-ray's without hassle? I rented Armored last week and the damn PS3 wanted to load it on the hard drive first and asked for a code to do such. Of course there was no code, so I had to drive back to Blockbuster and get it on DVD. WTF? It's your technology dirtbags.

LG is selling 240hz and 2ms response time LCD TV's since last year! Prices have come down lately. Is this the latest offering from Sony?

For correct 3D implementation you'd need some polarizers, i.e. 3D specs/goggles/woteva
