Well, I just discovered, via this forum, why my Sony Cybershot wont download pictures to my Windows 7. I dont have the original USB cable, either. Is there someother software program I can use? Ordering the right USB cable is not an option at this time.

You camera uses MemoryStick Duo cards, so your best option is to buy a Memory Stick DUO reader (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/572381-REG/Iogear_GFR281_Universal_Memory_Bank_56_in_1.html or similar) and just use that. You do not need software for it


If you do not have a reader or compatible USB cable,you can't read anything off it regardless of how much you cry, you need either a memory card reader or a compatible usb cable
