Question Sony HandyCam DCR-SR40: Use?

Having just moved i am cleaning out old stuff (something i should have done more of BEFORE i moved).

I have come by my above cited camera and am questioning what to do with it.

Does anyone know of if, and if so how, it can be put to good use? Otherwise, to the circular file it will go-

Presumably it still works.
Your current phone camera is a much better picture.

But if YOU can't visualize a use for it, try to sell it.
