no concept approval, and reducing prices on development kits up to 80-percent. Sony also promises shorter quality assurance processes, and low prince points for new games.
sounds like a good plan for any company aspiring to have an app store that can beat apple, the app store is the only reason to buy an iphone or ipod touch

Which one is it 😉.

This is a good start though. It's a shame they are about 3-4 years too late.

So i expect lame overpriced apps just to see a slideshow of stolen porn that i can see on google for free stemming from developers who spent 24 hours to produce hoping to make quick cash?

sounds like a plan 😛 I could use a little quick cash

Aren't they taking on the DS and Apple with this maneuver? They are decreasing the price of entry to the PSP and opening up for game developers that produce a ton of casual gamer's games.

I wasn't interested in the PSP2 until now. If this takes off and is actually good I might actually get one. I don't like digital distribution for full retail games, but I love it for low price stuff, XBLA, PSN, App Store, Steam and the like.
