Sony STRDH-130 a good match for Klipsch 1.2 speakers

Just purchased Sony receiver (STRDH130) - 100 watts x 2 @ 8 ohms, 1kHz for powerful sound.
Have Klipsch 1.2 speakers (50W - 8ohm - 250 watts peak - 50Hz-20kHz±3dB

Is the 100 watt receiver too much for the Klipsch speakers?

It should work fine. The Sony is a bit overrated since they only give the power rating at 1khz rather than from 20-20khz.
Even if you like your music loud those speakers don't need much power.
