Turned off the TV with apple tv remote and now the TV won't turn on. Not even with the on button on the tv. Any ideas?

I don't think that the remote you used to turn the TV off would make any difference.
Is the standby light on? If not then the AC outlet the TV is plugged into is dead.
You can try unplugging the TV from the AC for 10 minutes and plug it back in. This may reset the TV.
