SONY VAIO VGN-CR11S FLICKERING SCREEN

Hi,
I have had this laptop about a year now and the screen has started flickering so bad that I cant see what's on it most of the time. Do I need to replace the screen or is it repairable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the light(s) on it are dying out. There isn't too much that you can do about it in terms of fixing it. You'll probably have to buy another screen. If you have had it less than a year though, I'd look into contacting Sony to see if you can get a new screen free of charge.
