Sony Vaio VGN-CS320J Flickering Screen?

Hello,
I have a Sony Vaio Model Laptop VGN-CS320J.
I think my screen may be bad, it flickers and also has lines running horizontal along the bottom 1".
At times the lines will go higher. But the screen flickers a lot.
I have taken the screen out and checked all of the connections and they appear good.
My hope was to replace the screen and then also convert the hard drive over to a solid state hard drive. I do not need the 320 hard drive 240-285 would be more than enough.
Please let me know what you think and if you have part names and part numbers for replacement it would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Do try to connect an external monitor as well just to be sure it's not a graphics card issue as well before you replace the display. If it displays normal on the external monitor your clear to replace it with a new display.
