Solved! Sophos safeguard locked workstation

I have an old work computer that has a sophos safeguard lock on the workstation. I have accessed the bios screen and changed the admin password but I cannot get past the sophos locked workstation screen. Is there a way to factory reset the computer from the bios screen? Or is there a way to by

download the installation media from microsoft website to a usb
go to bios on the laptop to tell it to boot from the usb.

remove the partition and start fresh os install

Can I do that from the bios screen or when the sophos safeguard screen comes up? It always says this workstation is locked. So I need to know where I can get to the place where I can delete the partition
