trying to download up dates and there is no sound at all thank you

Is this updates for the tablet's OS (done through the tablet's "Settings")? And have you gone into "Settings" and then "Sound" to make sure that they are indeed turned on and up?

yes I did I only have this for two months should I just return it??

Well I don't know if they would accept a return that late, you can try. Or you may need to contact the manufacturer and see if they will replace it.
