Sound Bar issue while streaming

I just purchased an RCA RTS7010B sound bar, works great when watching TV.

I have a Samsung smart TV , but when we attempt to watch Netflix, it does not work ..... we get a weird chirping noise.

Any ideas???

Sounds (no pun intended) like a sound codec issue. Some devices cannot decode the audio format that Netflix outputs. I have a similar issue with my reciever. Do the TV's built in speakers work for Netflix?

I second the above suggestion, try the tv speakers. Is it streaming via the soundbar or the TV, then using audio out of the tv to the soundbar? if its going via tv then into soundbar, check the tv sound settings, particularly if using a digital connector, to try set digital audio to PCM instead of bitstream.
