Sound base connect

I have a ART+SOUND TV sound base and it just comes with of course the ac adapter, remote and rca audio cable (just white (L) and red (R). When I connect to my Samsung TV I don't seem to get any sound on the sound base. What am I not doing right?

Without the model number of your TV I can't say for sure.
Most TVs don't have analog audio output so you may have connected to audio inputs on the TV. If the TV has headphone jack use that. Most common is digital audio out (optical or coax)
You will need a DAC like this one

and the cables to connect it.
You may have to turn the audio output on, turn the TV speakers off, and change the audio output type in the TV audio menu to get it to work.
