Sound card problem

Hi guys!
I have an 5.1 sorround speakers for 1 year and an sb audigy se audio card .The problem is that when i try to run any sound i get 2.1 from the from speakers ,i've discovered that if i put the jacks (green ,blue and pink ) one by one in the holes with the same colors only the green hole works .The interesting think is that some while ago i've made a combination that worked perfectly .I've tried:
-update the drivers
-setting 5.1 from control panel
-changing setting from the audio control panel
-different combination with the wires

But you are aware, that you need 5.1 Dolby coded source material, like from DVDs ore BlueRays to get 5.1 output? It doesn't work with stereo sources, like mp2 files.
