Sound completely stops and games start stuttering

Im running windows 10 with realtek hd audio in my motherboard, but im using an external DAC and Amp for my headphones. The audio just randomly cuts out completely and Overwatch starts stuttering like mad. It says i have over 100 fps but ever few seconds it just stops. Disabling and Re-enabling the device causes the sound tab to stop responding and i have to restart. to fix this i must restart my comp. It happens randomly during youtube videos gaming etc.

This is probably not a sound issue but an issue with the computer crashing. Could be overheating, not getting enough power, video card crashing, bad RAM, several other things. Start by listing system specs including power supply brand and model.

Install HWMonitor and check how high CPU and video card temps get.
