Sound through HDMI

I can't get sound through hdmi to my monitor. My monitor has speakers, and if I plug it to my ps4, the sound works fine!
- So I guess it has something to do with my computer. Any suggestions on what I should do?

In Control Panel, check your Sound settings to see if the HDMI adapter is the default output/playback device.

I don't even have the hdmi thing.
I have:
- Speakers (which is not connected)
- Headphones (not connected)
- Digital sound (S/PDIF) Which is the one it is using.

That would suggest that the HDMI drivers are not installed. What make/model is your system?

Oh and btw, it worked fine a couple of days ago. I have an legato game capture connected as well...
