Soundbar hookup proscan

I was hooking up my ilive soundbar to my proscan tv it doesn't have optical hookup so I brought the red and white cables still no sound and I don't see where you hook it up to the back of the TV please help me

What model is your sound bar? Does it have a 3.5 mm audio input?

If so, you may be able to a RCA (red and white cables) with a 3.5 mm plug on one end, red and white on the other end.
