I have a Denon stereo system which wires through to speakers. I would like to purchase speakers (preferably ceiling speakers) that also has Bluetooth capability so that I can connect to my iPad and iPhone?
Get simple ceiling speakers, connect them to the stereo. Get a [Bluetooth audio receiver, connect it to spare Denon audio input, then pair it with your iPad.

You don't talk to the speakers directly, you talk to your Denon (fit it with BT if you must) as one of the line sources. Denon, the heart of the system, the master switcher, retains control.
There are no in ceiling bluetooth speakers since they would require ac to power them. Much more complicated to wire.
If you want the in ceiling speakers to operate independently of the Denon then the best option is to use a Sonos ConnectAmp to power them and access streaming services and local file playback.
A less expensive option is to connect them to an amp that has bluetooth as an input. https/www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Audio-Receiver-Amplifier-Model/dp/B00JB4YWGO
