Speakers for the samsung PPM42H3: what kind of wires (specifically the input jack on the TV for ext. speaker) do I need to connect speakers?

Do you mean external speakers for the TV or connecting a sound input to use the TV's speakers? Assuming you mean external, it has Speaker output - 4 wire terminals, left +/- and right +/-, which will drive 8 ohm speakers but nothing really big. No amplifier needed. The spec sheet mentions 2x RCA audio, left and right, but the manual describes these as input.
