Specs vs. brand name?

Hi. I'm looking for a laptop under £600 that is capable of playing relatively modern games (Just Cause 2, GTA IV, Saint's Row III) at medium+ settings with a smooth framerate (above 30fps).
After a bit of searching I came across the Medion Akoya P7817 for £589.

i5 3230M, GT 730M, 8GB RAM, full HD screen, sounds pretty good to me.

My question is, has anyone had any experiences with the Medion brand? Are they reliable/well made? I've also seen the Lenovo G700 for £599.

Same processor, worse graphics card (GT 720M), 8GB RAM, not quite full HD screen, and more expensive.

So which should I go for? The cheaper Medion with better specs or the Lenovo?

All I know is that Medion is a German company that is majority owned by Lenovo.

Lol yeah that's all I know. Lenovo has a good reputation here, so maybe that means Medion is good too?
Unfortunately there aren't many Medion reviews online because it's a less-common brand, I was hoping someone here might know more about them.
