After a ton of research and consideration, I pulled the trigger on the Spectre x360. I considered the Yoga 910 and the XPS 13 2-1 as well, but for the same specs, the prices were much higher.

The purpose is for the wife to be able to go online, handle some pictures and video and for myself to play simple games and such. I know I could have picked a i5 6xxx for half the price but I would like to think I have a machine for the next 5 years. The screen is not the OLED option.

Any thoughts?

The one you mention is thicker and doesnt have touchscreen. I think that the one he is looking at is a good option unless he wants it to be thicker and if he doesnt care about the touchscreen

I reccomend getting what you wanted. That is the best option being that it is cheaper than the alternatives
