Spilled juice yesterday

Soo yesterday, my laptop fell of a shelf and juice spilled on it. I initially dried it off and checked the touchpad and everything was fine. I went back to it a couple of hours later and the touchpad wouldn't work. After that, I turned it off overnight and now it won't turn on altogether. HELP!!

The most likely reason is the damage caused both by liquid entry and it falling off the shelf. That means a new motherboard is required. Rarely is this a worthwhile or cost-effective repair as it could cost nearly as much as a new laptop.
