Spilled milk over my laptop

hello there, yesterday i've spilled milk on my lappy, i just clean it's surface but not the inside and still continue to use it. is there a possibility that it will broke my laptop? or what steps should i do to avoid it? please help it's not my laptop. thanks.

Some have sealed keyboards but some it can get inside and damage.

would probably put it in a warm dry place and not turn it on for a week. take it apart if you know how and dry out the insides.
