I spilled a cup of a drink that leaves residue.
I instantly plugged out the power cord, took out the battery, put the laptop upside down and cleaned it, left it for 48+ hours.
I put the battery in rice as logic told me.
Now I ve reconnected my laptop and am using it to ask this question right now.

first/ The keyboard apparently doesn't respond, although I'm using an external keyboard right now like a charm.

Some keys are sticky but i dont really think its the problem with it.

second/ The battery doesnt charge whenever I have it on charger and have the laptop turned on

If I shut the laptop down itd charge.
Though the charging indicator is telling me it's charging but it doesn't actually charge.

Really concerned about that.

I m sending it to a technician soon, but any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Model: Samsung RV511EG

It's usually pretty easy to remove the keyboard from a laptop. Take it out and wash it in clean water, then try it again after it completely dries.

If it needs to be replaced just order one on eBay.
