spilled water on my laptop

Yesterday I spilled water on my asus laptop and did all the nescessary things (except dismantle it)
And I did not know whether to prop it, or to leave it shut upside down and ended up leaving it upside down, closed. now I am worried that I did damage it.

Honestly if your worried I'd take it to a pc/electronics repair shop but if your not super worried (and I advise doing this at your own risk) try booting it up and hoping for the best. If everything appears to function properly you may have been lucky. Either way I hope it works out!
