hmmm.... With 3 million free subs and 600K paying customers, I believe you are quite wrong about no one cares.
I have used most music services and my favorites are Pandora (for finding new stuff) and Spotify (I'm a paying customer).

I love Spotify. I got an invite when it first came to the US and pretty much right away opted in for the paid service. I don't own an iPad so i don't exactly care for this news, but...many others would love an iPad app. Saying it will die soon, is very very wrong.

There alot more Android users than iPad or iPhone users annd we generally hate the lockyoudown iTune jail. Better address the Android market first.
