Hi folks,
I have brought a HP 2000-2116TU Notebook PC (B8N01PA) Notebook PC
(Link-http://www8.hp.com/in/en/products/laptops/product-detail.html?oid=5277693&jumpid=reg_r1002_inen_c-001_title_r0001)
with the following spec:

- Intel® Core™ i5-3210M
- Intel HM75 Express
- 2 GB 1600 MHz DDR3(1 x 2 GB) + I have added a 4GB same, so Now = 6GB
- 500 GB SATA (5400 rpm) + etc.

Now, I have to replace (just replace, no add) the HDD with a 64/128GB SSD and thus my questions are:

1) How could I know that it supports 3Gbps or 6Gbps (any tools, convention, etc.) SSD?
2) If it comes out to support 3Gbps, would adding a 6Gbps is worth it or buying a 3Gbps would be same?

I would appreciate any help on this.

regards.

Thnx mate, I have seen that it supports up to 6Gbps on your referred document. But, just to be confirmed for exactly my model, is there anything I can double check or should I buy and put in the SSD with be sure about the 6Gbps port will be opened and connected to the internal HDD port?

Thnx for the link.
