Solved! SSD for Pavillion 15-cs0053cl i5 8th generation

Does samnsung 970 evo be compatible with this pavillion. If not please give me a recomendation. HP recomend a more older SSD Samsung PM961 with is more power consumer and has less transfer speed. Thanks in advance

unless HP locks its system down with some extotic BIOS version then any any SATA SSD drive should be compatible

The problem is that i found problem in earlier version of pavilion 15 not being compatible with some samsung SSD. All of them aroung 2016 and 2017, so posibly this 2018 laptop be compatible.

this is always the problem with pre built PC's. they basically have all the same hardware you would find in custom builds but components that are supposed to work with it do not
