Anyone have available a clean, not clipped, limited or compressed, two to
five minute sample, 44.1 kHz, 16 bit recording of a stadium crowd in full
cheer during a sporting event?

The BBC Sound Effects CDs have some crowd noise, including 2'31" of a football
match (soccer to some).

Do crowds really cheer full blast for two to five minutes? They must
have the VCR running at home so they can watch the game later. <g>

The Sound Dogs website has tons of terrific sound effects you can download at
very low cost, like $4 or $5 each.

Check 'em out here:

Thanks Jay & Marc. I shall check out both resources. Mike, I have a home
video style recording from a futbol game at a stadium in Amsterdam of the
crowd alternating between unison chanting, singing and full cheer for at
least ten minutes.

You need a *very* exciting situation, but it happens.
