Hello all,

The first two games of the Stanley cup finals are going to be carried by
ESPN-HD.
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tvlistings/espnhd/index
Is there any way to find out whether the game will "really" be broadcast in
HD or if it's going to be the wonderful stretched HD.

That listing you have there is ALL in HD, not upconverted material.

And, to add an opinion...ESPN content that is actually in HD is of high
quality. Baseball looks great, and its obviously true HD when compared to
their normal stretched "HD" signal. Looking forward to football season and
Sunday nights. Sundays especially since Sopranos is done next week. 🙁
