Caroline is one of the mothers in Stardew Valley along with Robin and Jodi. She is married to Pierre and she has a daughter named Abigail who is one of the possible romantic partners in the game. One strange thing about Caroline is that her hair is green and she insists that the color is natural which would make her one of the characters who cannot exist in real life just because of her hair. This breaks the realism of Stardew Valley for some but it is a minor detail as there are much more spectacular things in Stardew Valley. Her husband owns the General Store and she is good friends with Jodi and Robin probably because all three are mothers.
Caroline’s Schedule:
Since Caroline is one of the main characters that you will interact with, her schedule is a bit complex and can be divided according to the seasons.
Spring: On Monday and Thursday she leaves the house at 2:00 pm and talks to Jodi in the town square till 4:00 pm. She stays at home on Tuesday and Saturday. On Wednesday she is near the Community Center. On Friday she goes to the Museum and on Sunday she is near the Community Center from 4:20 pm to 6:30 pm.
Summer: On Monday she leaves her house, which is in the General Store by the way, at 2:00 pm to meet Jodi in the town square. On Tuesday, Sunday and on rainy days she stays at home. On Wednesday she goes to the west of the Community Center from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. On Thursday she goes to the town square at 1:30 pm. On Friday she goes to the Museum from 1:40 pm to 5:00 pm. On Saturday she goes to the town square again from 2:50 pm to 3:50 pm.
Fall: Caroline follows the same schedule as Spring.
Winter: Caroline follows the same schedule as Summer.
Caroline’s Gift Guide:
There are a bunch of gifts that you can give to Caroline which she will really love. She particularly likes Summer Spangle, Fish Taco, Daffodil as well as all Universal Loves and Likes.
You should not give her Common Mushroom, Amaranth, Leek, Chanterelle, Wild Horseradish, Mayonnaise, Duck Mayonnaise, Holly, Dandelion, Purple Mushroom, Hazelnut, Winter Root, Morel, Snow Yam, Salmonberry, Quartz and Universal Hates and Dislikes.
Quests:
Caroline only gives you one quest personally. She asks for a Pumpkin on the 19th of Fall.
You will get 500 gold as well as a friendship heart. She also posts help wanted notices on the outside of Pierre’s shop.
Caroline’s Events:
At 3 and seven hearts you get recipes from Caroline but at six hearts you see Caroline and Abigail fighting in the store.
Caroline is fun to have a friend as she can give you gifts and there is a little bit of trivia about her daughter. It is believed by many that Abigail is in fact the Wizard and Caroline’s daughter as the Wizard and Abigail have the same hair color.
