Normally, I'd ask such a question on the steam forums but Tomshardware has provided such good answers to my questions in the past, that I trust this community more.
Alright, so I changed the name of my D drive (where some steam games were installed) and also the name of the folder where the steamlibrary was in that D drive. Now, all those games in that steam Library in the D drive have become "uninstalled" (as it says "Install game" when I hover my house over them on my games library). But it couldn't have become uninstalled as the hard drive space is still taken up by the game's data, My conclusion is that steam simply forgot somehow that a steam library existed in my D drive. I really don't want to install all those games again (with the crappy internet in Dhaka) as it would take days. I'd be very grateful for any help. Thanks in advance.
